Le marché australien continue à connaître une croissance modérée, marquée par la croissance plus forte des SUV qui continuent à battre des records.

Avec une croissance plus forte que celle ses berlines (plus de 10%), les SUV grignotent du terrain et affichent en avril une part de marché de 36,3%, contre 42,9% aux berlines. Deux modèles figurent dans le Top10: CX-5 et Rav4.

La Corolla confirme son ascendant sur la Mazda3, tandis que Mazda campe à la seconde place naguère occupée par Holden. On notera l’apparition de Mercedes à la 10ème place, porté par les ventes de la Classe-C (681 ventes).

Renault et PSA progressent plus que Volkswagen group en cumul annuel.
