Bilan marché Chine - VW Lavida Plus

Avec 12,68% de hausse en mai, le marché chinois a connu sa plus forte hausse depuis… février 2017. Et surprise, c’est un sursaut pour les berlines qui reprennent un peu de terrain aux SUV.

Avec la nouvelle Volkswagen Lavida qui prend la tête, suivie de trois autres berlines, ce segment progresse de plus de 12% (51,57% du marché), alors que les SUV ne gagnent que 7% de volume et une part de marché à 41,1%. Les monospaces sont les grands perdants avec une part qui tombe à 7,27%.

Malgré le succès de cette Lavida, et la présence dans le Top10 des Sagitar, Tiguan, Santana et Jetta, Volkswagen perd des parts de marché dans l’attente du lancement de ses nouveaux SUV. Honda qui avait bien profité de la chute de Hyundai et Kia perd du terrain, et laisse donc passer Toyota à la seconde place alors que les deux marques coréennes regagnent rapidement le terrain perdu. GM perd également du terrain. Car si Chevroletou Cadillac sont en forte croissance, Wuling est sévèrement touché par la chute du monospace, et Buick semble aussi en difficulté (effet monospace également ?). Enfin, Baojun continue à s’imposer comme une marque phare et pourrait devenir la première marque de SAIC-GM. Dans la chute du monopace, Baojun parvient néanmoins à lancer avec succès son nouveau 630.

PSA est à la relance de ses ventes, en fait surtout pour Citroën. C’est en revanche à présent le cas de Ford qui semble le plus inquiétant.

C’est toujours le succès pour Geely, en hausse de près de 50% sans compter la marque Lynk&Co qui s’apprête à lancer le 02. BYD profite à plein de la croissance du marché de l’électrique et de l’hybride rechargeable, tout comme SAIC. C’est un peu moins la joie du côté de Changan, Brilliance, Dongfeng, FAW, JAC, GAIC ou Lifan.

La BAIC EC-Series reste la voiture électrique la plus vendue en Chine, et pointe à la 37ème place du marché toutes catégories confondues. Et comme le crossover EX a plutôt été bien vendu le mois dernier, BAIC devient la première marque du marché des NEV (New Energy Vehicle). BYD n’est pas très loin derrière grâce à ses nombreux modèles, et SAIC continue à grimper. Geely, numéro un chinois ne pointe qu’à la 9ème place de ce marché. Derrière GM qui continue à écouler sa petite citadine Baojun E100 avec succès, alors qu’elle n’est encore vendue que dans un ombre limité de villes. Sa toute nouvelle version devrait donc améliorer ses ventes puisqu’elle va partir à la conquête d’autres territoires.
